About Jake Reni

I help leaders build
scalable businesses without losing themselves

I am an executive coach, writer, former Chief Revenue Officer, and GTM Operating Partner. Over the past fifteen years, I've worked across fast-growing venture-backed startups and established enterprise tech companies—building revenue engines from $0 to $50M+.

My belief is simple: revenue growth is not just about quota spreadsheets or sales automation software. It is fundamentally about leadership clarity, emotional stamina, and disciplined execution.

The Backstory

From the High-Growth Trenches to Executive Advisory

Like many ambitious executives, I spent years equating my personal worth with my company's quarterly revenue. I built sales teams, negotiated enterprise contracts, reported to venture capital boards, and survived the relentless pressure of early-stage scaling.

Eventually, I observed a pattern among founders: almost every business reaches a threshold where outward commercial momentum begins to fracture the executive's inner peace. When that happens, leaders often double down on hustle—triggering burnout, team turnover, and erratic strategy.

Today, through R3NI GTM, I partner with founders to solve both halves of the equation: the mechanical sales architecture that creates predictable revenue, and the inner sovereignty that keeps the human being at the helm grounded and fulfilled.

Core Operating Beliefs

The guiding principles that dictate every client partnership and GTM architecture.

1. Truth Over Territory

When you hire an external partner, you aren't looking for someone to agree with internal consensus. The luxury of being an operating partner is freedom from corporate politics—enabling radical candor about revenue bottlenecks.

2. Systems Outlast Superstars

A company reliant on a single 'hero rep' to hit quota is vulnerable. Sustainable GTM engines rely on structured playbooks, clear ICP definition, and disciplined pipeline cadence that empowers the entire sales team.

3. Inner Clarity Drives Outer Scale

When founders or CROs feel anxious or misaligned, it ripples directly into team turnover and customer churn. We address the psychological and strategic leadership barriers simultaneously.

4. Alignment Precedes Acceleration

Pouring more budget into marketing or hiring sales reps before message-market-fit only burns cash faster. Get aligned first, then accelerate.
